On the 11th of October 2002, Vice President of India Bhairon Singh Shekhwat released Commemorative Coin Sets to honor the occasion of Birth Centenary of Lok Nayak Jayprakash Narayan. Deputy Prime Minister of India, Shri L K Advani was also present on the occasion. The Coins were minted and distributed to Numismatic Collectors in India by the Mumbai Mint and the details are as follows.
