2001 – Syama Prasad Mokerjee Commemorative Coin Set

Dr Syama Prasad Mokerjee was a Bengali Freedom Fighter and a minister in the Jawhar Lal Nehru Cabinet. After fall out with Nehru, he founded the Bharatiya Jana Sangh which in present form is the Bharatiya Janta Party [BJP] which has India’s tallest Leaders like Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A Commemorative Coin was released to Honor Dr Syama Prasad Mokerjee in the year 2002 by Shri JaganMohan Union Minister of Tourism. Details of the Silver coin set minted by IGM Kolkata is as below, ?
